MAINTENANCE FREE POND FILTER SYSTEM

Image
  Rock and gravel is a very old type of filtration media   Rock and gravel were used for a long time but have   lost favor with many Pond owners. One of the reasons for that fall off Is that the surface area per cubic foot Is Not Very High Or so people think isn’t very high, Yes rock  is a solid material that takes up a lot of space, But that is also a natural material that is formed on a very fine structure. That is in rotated on a microscopic level, The surface  would have a fairly High microscopic surface area Which is never talked about when it comes to talking about gravel  surface areas. A filter using rock or gravel will require a larger footprint to handle the same size pond as some of  today's newer media, rather it's smaller, the filter the more  frequently it requires maintenance Rocks on the bottom: When we talked about putting rock and stone on  the bottom of the Pod with meet at least or up a passionate feeling in...

We're making headway

We have a place we're looking at getting & it's on a acre of land that's flat  how it's laid out we have enough room for all 6 dogs with 4 pens for them that's 3 runner pens for 3 separate dogs  & 1 big pen for 3 dogs that works. We'll have to  TAKE  our time  in moving & not get into a hurry to move  if it takes us 3 mons then fine & do all the  SMALL  moving at  NIGHT   stuff that can fit in the car & van that can't be seen by the neighbors. The place has a well for water, something I've never had to deal with so I  have to do some research on how a well works & what needs to be done  as far as maintenance & whatever else I need to know about what to do. B-4 buying a house on a well  <things we NEED TO KNOW. Well Water Pressure How It Works  < things to keep in mind. As far as the WELL goes, I  may have to   hire someone  who knows how  to maintain it, & do w...

U G FILTER SYSTEM # 2 {all male guppy tank}

Image
                                                                      Part 2 for using a UG GRAVEL SYSTEM   I want to grow aquatic plant's in my tanks NOT FISH  Why Not fish with the  plants you may be asking, well the reason I don't want fish in the tanks is I'll  have them in a NONPLANTED tank & what fish I will have in the tank will be  those that I won't never have to catch if I'm selling fish, they'll be for fertilizing  the tank & feeding the plants, so the fish I put in the tank will be all male guppies . I will have 1-55 gal tank just for this purpose only as a SHOW TANK for my  videos I make about the plants I have for sale & this will be a good way for me  to get buyers, I will sell my extra guppies locally cause I don't trust the mail  service ...

Starting over from scratch with guppies

  Back a few years ago I started a guppy pond/ tank & I really didn't know what I was  doing when I got so over loaded with them I just simple got out of them & traded them  in for goldfish & now that it's been a couple years since guppies I want to try it again. But this next time do it a lot different & not have it get out of control like it did the  last time, this time I am going to get some pg females ONLY  & let the fry grow up & see what I get from them & sell-trade off the 1's I don't want & keep the 1's I want. This next time I get into it I'll have all the setup going like it SHOULD BE  & not all  1/2 assed like when I 1st started the last time I got into it & didn't have a clue about  what I was doing, This time I'll know what & how I want to do with raising them. # 1 keep the BREEDERS separate males from females, this way it's better to choose  what breeders you want to work with in a 1...

U G F SYSTEM

  What is a under ground filter system? it's a filter system that goes under gravel in a fish tank to keep the water clean & clear & helps feed the plants you have in your tank to help them grow strong, healthy, & faster, & it's easy to set up for any 1 getting into the fish hobby for the 1st time, It's also easy to keep the gravel clean as well. I have been doing a lot of research on this & there are a lot of people in the fish hobby that gives this system a 👍 for a lot of reasons as I mentioned above, I haven't tried 1 myself but I'm in the process of getting 1 for my 55 gal tank to grow my aquarium plants I'm getting into which I've been wanting to do for a long time to sell. I'll put some videos on here to give you some thought about how the system works & what makes it the #1 filter for most fish hobbyist that use it for their tanks, & plant's they grow to sell, So I look at it this way, they ALL Can't be WRONG!...
