What's been going on ? 12-9-25

 

There's been a few things going on in the last few months this year 
We got the cabin done as far as remodeling the whole thing, top to 
bottom end to end, got the bathroom & kitchen in working order.

I've been living on & off in my new redone home when I'm not 
living over at husband's trailer to keep him company every now &
then, I spend a few days at his place & I spend time at mine.

But all in all I rather spend time at my little cabin where it's nice 
& quite & can get the peace & rest I need without being woke 
up every few hours cause he can't sleep, & I sleep in my recliner.

SO, there's that little bit of news, now for the rest of what's been 
going on in my world in the woods ? I rescued a kitten from my 
a few mons ago cause she was going to let it run loose & become 
wild & it wasn't old enough to be weaned much less wild. 😞

So I took it & got it old enough to get spayed & I'm looking for 
a good home for it, she's solid black, loves to play & be petted 
& played with, I got her leash trained so when I put her outside 
I can put her on a leash long enough for her to run around.

My health is doing good "sugar wise" my sugar Dr put me on a 
new type of medication that is doing a great job at keeping my 
sugar in the target range like I've been trying to do but just 
never could get where it needed to be & now I'm doing great.

The medication he put me on is called Jardiace, 25 mgs once 
a day, I take it in the morns with the rest of my meds & I
don't have to worry about my sugar spiking, I wait till it's 
under a 100 & that's when I can make my hot chocolate.

Every now & then depending on what I drink or eat It will 
spike & I'll have to take a fast acting insulin shot to get it 
back in target but it's not very often, & I like that. 😊

I love my bedroom in the cabin, it has just enough room where 
I have a bed side table for my fan I have a small wall light &
it's nice & cozy where I can block out all the light. 💖

Winter is here & the cabin stays nice  & warm, I keep the fan 
in my bedroom running for the circulation so I don't get too 
hot, to keep the heat circulated in the cabin even though I
have a heater in the kitchen as well to keep it warm too.

The goldfish pond is doing good, I got my 1st spawn of fry 
a few months B-4 winter & I brought them in for the winter 
so I could raise them up to put in the pond next year. 👍

I bought a canister filter for the 30 gal tank their in so it will 
stay clean & when I put them in the pond next year I'll 
just keep the tank going just in case I get more fry.

The 75 gal tank I have going is FINALLY looking good 
Bought a canister filter for it a while back B-4 I got sick 
& for some reason ((I d k) I took it off the tank & never 
put it back on till a few weeks ago & it's nice & clear.

So when I go to put the fish in the 75 gal outside for spring 
I'll hook up the canister filter to the tank I put them in 
which is a 55 gal  & I'll take the plants as well too.

Why ? so they can get some sun & it helps the plants 
grow so when they get big enough I can sell them &
make a little side $ from them like I do the goldfish.

So yea, it's taken me a while to get where I am in life 
& just like the photo on this blog says "sometimes our
lives have to be shaken up, changed & rearranged to 
relocate us to the place we're meant to be" & I agree.

My life was shaken up rearranged & relocated to get 
where I am today & I am very blessed to have made 
it through ALL of it, from almost dying twice to getting 
back on my feet a year & a 1/2 later, to all of my dogs
dying on me in the process of getting back on my feet 
to getting through working on the cabin & the stress 
I went through getting it done, so I'm very blessed. 🙏

I'm very thankful for God's loving arms around me 
for being there at my weakest time in my life, for giving 
me a 2nd chance in life, This is the life I've always wanted.

To have my own place to be with a man that loves me &
to have a place that I can call MINE & have my own space.

There's not a lot of women who has what I have in life 
& there's a lot of women who wish they had the life 
I do, that says a lot right there. . .
